I almost made it til Midnight!

Rylie was soo excited for out New Years Eve "party" and she did so good staying awake and being happy. But in the end she fell asleep at 11:50, we tried to talk to her but she was out. When we went to move her to her bed she was soo sad that she was being put to bed and thought the party was going on with out her, little did she know it came and went and we were all heading to bed. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My lost tooth, teeth!

Nathan had two loose teeth and suprised me when I came home from the gym on Christmas eve with the bottom one gone.

Then the day after Christmas he lost his first top tooth! He really worked hard at this tooth. He worked in front of the mirror for about 30 minutes and then his wonderful Aunt came in to help him out (the whole floss tied around the tooth) and she was successful. I was prancing around my mom's house waiting for the crowd that had formed to yell "it came out". I don't know why I can't handle pulling my own child's tooth but thank heavens for my sister Michelle and a child that will keep at it til its done.

Sledding

On New Years Eve we took the kids sledding and had so much fun.

This is me trying to snowboard. . . . . .

I did NOT get too far, but it was my first time.

Here is Rylie doing the boogie board, she was so brave she kept telling us "I want to do it all by myself!"

Derrek being a good sport and dragging Rylie to the trail that leads to the top of the mountain.

Christmas Day!

Christmas was so fun this year with Rylie being older and able to understand what was going on. We all slept in the family room and that was just too much fun. Nate started around 2 in the morning and didn't stop until we finally woke Rylie up at 6am to go open presents. I thought we would all be really tired but I think the excitement of the day carried us through.

This was Rylie's first present, she thought it was her friends game, who just happens to have the same thing.

Nathan really wanted an ipod shuffle in green so you can see by his enthusiasm he got just what he wanted.

Derrek got one too!

Here is Derrek with his new CO2 powered airsoft gun, look out neighbor kids.

Rylie's very pretty "princess" barbies. She played with these all day.

Nate and his airsoft gun.

Derrek loves High School musical, and he finally got the last movie.

It is tradition in our house for Drew to make omelets on Christmas morning and let me tell you they are YUMMY! Here he is cooking away. . . . .

and the kids waiting very patiently for their omelet.

And the final product, I couldn't get a very good picture but they were tasty.

Derrek just chillin in his new Aggie sweatshirt

Rylie finally collapsing from the fun filled day.

Nate, holding on to dear life to his airsoft gun.
It was such a great day, we wish all a very Merry Christmas!

Who needs the beach??

This was our first real snow storm and the kids were out having a blast in it. Nate came and got us to show us that he buried Derrek. It just reminded me so much of burying each other in the sand, I guess you don't need the beach to do this.
