I finally did it! . . . .

When we moved into this house I decided that I wanted to do Rylie's name on her wall somehow. I knew I wanted to do them in wood block letters but that was about it. As soon as we got her room painted I went and bought the letters. She has been begging me now for a year and a half to do it, but I just wasn't sure how I wanted it done. I saw my sister in laws blog (thank you Becky) and she did her little girls name on her wall and it was exactly what I had been wanting to do. So I got the wood cut and found some paper to match and finally got it up there. Rylie was so patient with me, once she knew I had all the stuff she asked me every day when it was going to be up on her wall. It is finally done and she loves it.

Boys Basketball

Okay, so I have been so lazy lately with blogging. I decided today to at least get some done and get it off my mind. Both boys played basketball this year and it was so fun to watch, though just as they were starting to gain confidence and skills, the season was over. They both seemed to enjoy it and I was glad to see Derrek play this time. Here are a few pictures of them.

No Nap Required. . ? ? . .

Lately Rylie is trying hard to not take a nap--me on the other hand wants it to continue. She begged me one day last week to just let her play in her room and she would stay there tell her dad got home. I agreed to this deal. Within 15 minutes I couldn't hear anything coming from her room so I peeked in and she was dead asleep on the floor. I didn't think to take a picture then. The next day she proposed the same thing, so I said sure. Again when all was quiet I went in there and she was asleep on the floor--and who sleeps like this? I just had to get a picture I thought it was too cute, and she thinks she doesn't need a nap???? Think again.
